Margo is a registered Clinical Psychologist who offers psychological therapy and assessments for adults 16 + who are struggling with mental health difficulties.

 

Margo has worked in the prison system and at Te Whatu Ora in Aotearoa and in private and public hospitals in New South Wales. She is experienced in working with a range of different presenting concerns including mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders and psychological issues as a result of physical illness and adjustment difficulties. Margo has an integrative approach to therapy which is influenced by the client’s presenting concerns, their current context and goals, and evidence-based psychological research.

 

Margo’s primary therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Metacognitive therapy, as well as mindfulness focussed therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

 

She believes that a therapeutic relationship based on support, respect and evidenced-based care is important in assisting her clients to reach their goals and to live fulfilling lives.
