About My Work

I am a Clinical Psychologist working with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, life transitions, and psychological challenges. My work is grounded in developing a deep understanding of each person’s inner world and helping them make sense of experiences that may feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to articulate.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I left in 2016 to travel and focus on personal growth before settling in Christchurch in 2019. Since then, I have worked across multiple clinical roles within a public agency and now also practise privately.

I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is calm, respectful, and non-judgemental, where people feel seen and understood. My approach balances warmth and empathy with structure and clarity, supporting clients to reflect, gain insight, and develop practical ways forward that enhance wellbeing and day-to-day functioning.

Areas of Clinical Focus

I work with adults presenting with:

  •  Anxiety and mood difficulties
  •  Adjustment to life stressors, transitions, or health condition
  • Grief and loss
  • Behaviour change and habit formation
  • Identity, values, and personal growth
  • Work-related stress and professional functioning

I have extensive experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds and regularly support members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Neurodiversity-Informed Therapy, ADHD & Autism

Alongside my broader clinical work, I have a strong interest in neurodiversity-informed practice, particularly supporting adults with ADHD and Autism. Rather than being a separate specialty, this perspective informs how I understand emotional regulation, attention, sensory processing, burnout, identity, and coping across all areas of my work.

From March 2026, I will be offering ADHD assessments for adults, as well as post- diagnostic support and ongoing therapeutic or coaching work. I also work collaboratively with other diagnostic providers when appropriate.

I additionally provide coaching and mentoring for neurodiverse professionals and leaders, supporting sustainable performance, self-understanding, and strengths-based development.

Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of work, I enjoy meditation, cooking with music, time in nature, and quiet, restorative routines that support balance and wellbeing.
