BA, PGDipSc, BA(Hons), MA(Distinction), PGDipClinPsyc

Sarah works with people 17 years of age and above.

Sarah is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, who has worked for more than 20 years in New Zealand and Australia in public mental health and private practice settings. More recently she held leadership and advisory roles in health. Sarah currently offers therapy and supervision, with face to face sessions held one day a week. She also has limited capacity for online sessions by arrangement.

Her areas of practice include treating anxiety, OCD, depression, adjustment to difficult life transitions, psychosis, and managing work, relationships or life stress. She has a particular interest in supporting carers who have a loved one with a physical health/mental health condition.

Sarah has supervised psychologists, therapists, doctors, nurses, psychology/CBT students and other allied health practitioners for therapy and work related matters.

Sarah aims to work with you to develop a shared understanding and improve your mental health and wellbeing. She tailors evidence-based psychological therapy, to complement what you are already doing.

Sarah generally tries not to take herself too seriously, and enjoys cooking, travel, spending time with friends and family, poetry and being in New Zealand’s amazing outdoors.
